Step-by-Step
Application of Add-On Self-Adhesive Sheets for Racquets
These steps apply to building-up grips on tennis, racquetball, squash
and badminton racquets. Add-On provides a fast, easy, accurate way of
building-up the grips of racquets to personally fit the hands of the
athlete. Add-On will result in a build-up job that is uniform in thickness,
enhances the feel of the grip and is durable enough to withstand a wide
array competitive sports situations and environments. The entire process
can take as little as five minutes to complete. |
| |
Before
you begin: Determine which thickness Add-On (RO16 HALF +
1/16" or RO31 FULL for +1/8") you will need, then proceed
with the following steps: |
| |
Step One: Remove
the overgrip from racquet & clean handle. You can either build up
over the butt cap or remove it during the application of the build-up
material. |
| |
Step Two: Remove
paper backing from Add-On sheet to expose adhesive. Press & smooth-out
the adhesive side against the full length of the first flat of the
handle. Continue to press-apply sheet along each flat until starting
edge is overlapped. |
| |
Step Three: Trim & remove
any overlapping build-up material with a utility knife & smooth out
seam. |
| |
Step Four: Replace
butt cap at this time (if it was removed) then reapply overgrip. |
IMPORTANT: The
use of a heat gun to apply our Original Add-On Self-Adhesive
Sheets is NOT REQUIRED and should
not be used.
Add-On Original Self-Adhesive
Sheets can also be used to build up grips on racquetball,
squash and badminton racquets if needed.
